NILS presents its first Winter School in New Delhi "International Dispute Settlement"

The organization "International Network of Law Students" (NILS) after the last successful Summer School in Bucharest, presents the first Winter School in New Delhi entitled "International Dispute Settlement". The development of the global market has led to a growing need for cross-border investments. These issues are central themes of the conference. The school will focus ( aprox. a 25-hour-program) with  International Commercial Arbitration, International Investment Arbitration and Private International Law, exploring f.e. UNCITRAL rules, the legal framework and the theory of the International Commercial Arbitration, the structure of the International Courts and Immigration law. Besides interesting courses the school will include visits to key points of  New Dechli f.e. the Akshardham and the Parliament.

The President of NILS, Pratik Bakshi, stated exclusively to analuseto.gr :

"The steady increase in cross-border trading over the years has paved way for the development of the area of international dispute settlement. This Winter School aims to bring together students from different parts of the world and have interactive sessions on this area of law, with special concentration on international commercial and investment arbitration. We have invited several industry-experts to provide the participants with practical knowledge on the subject. Lastly, we are leaving no stones unturned in making a great social programme, in which the participants will discover what we call Incredible India! We are waitig for you ! "

The Winter School will be held in New Delhi, India from the 26th of November to the 4th of December 2016. The number of participants will be 40, and the applications have already been opened. To participate it is sufficient to complete the online application here and if you are selected will have to pay the subscription fee of  the program which  is $ 50 for the NILS members and $ 80 for non-members.

NILS provides the option of hotel accommodation for the duration of the program with additional $ 50, while undertakes to provide free of charge a travel metro card to the participants! Students who need help with the necessary travel documents (f.e. travel visa) will be informed and helped, while NILS will provide all possible assistance for participants who wish to stay longer or visit different places.
